Struggling with Dental Anxiety? You're Not Alone!
Fear of the dentist is incredibly common—over half of adults experience some level of anxiety, and for some, it’s so severe that they avoid essential dental care altogether. At Roseland Dental, we understand these concerns, which is why we offer IV sedation for both registered and non-registered patients.
What is IV Sedation?
This form of sedation is administered through a small injection, allowing you to feel as though you are asleep while remaining conscious. Many patients experience deep relaxation and have little to no memory of the procedure afterwards.
The Benefits of Sedation Dentistry:
✅ Helps patients with a strong fear of dental treatment feel at ease
✅ Reduces anxiety about needles, instruments, sounds, and tastes
✅ Makes longer or more complex treatments (like wisdom tooth extractions) easier
✅ Avoids the risks and recovery time associated with general anaesthetic
✅ Most patients don’t remember the treatment afterwards
With the expertise of Dr. Brian Needham and our experienced sedation nurses, Rebecca Colman and Sharon Sweet, you can rest assured that your treatment will be as safe, comfortable, and stress-free as possible.
Don’t let fear hold you back from achieving a healthy smile! If you’d like more information on sedation dentistry or want to schedule a consultation, call us today on 01872 530243.
