Roseland Facial Aesthetics, Anti-wrinkle treatment and dermal fillers

You CAN turn back time!

As we age, our fat pads reduce in the face so the skin droops causing lines from nose to mouth and below the mouth as well as a sagging jawline. Dermal fillers are used to replace lost volume in the face. This allows us to restore and volumise facial contours for a more youthful appearance.

The type of modern filler used (Hyaluronic Acid) is naturally occurring in the body and therefore safe and reversible.

·         What areas can be treated?

The aim is always to create a fresher more youthful version of yourself without making you look different or unnatural.

Mid and Lower Face are the most popular areas for use of fillers. This includes:

* Cheeks
* Lips
* Chin
* Nasolabial Folds
* Marionette Lines
* Jaw
    ·         What can I expect during my Initial Consultation?

    Together we will discuss your aesthetic needs and wants to create the best treatment plan tailored specifically for you. This usually includes a combination of Botulinum toxin and dermal fillers to achieve a desired outcome.

     The aim of the consultation is to give you an opportunity to express your needs and get clarity on any questions you may have. This also gives the opportunity for us to suggest what may be the best solution for you in order to get the best results while minimising the amount of filler and need for treatment.

    ·         What can I expect during the treatment?

    During the treatment a small needle or cannula is inserted into or under the skin depending on the area to be injected. This can sometimes be uncomfortable and so topical or local anaesthetic may be used.

    Results can be seen immediately and will continue to improve over the course of two weeks.

    ·         Risks & side effects?

    We only use premium fillers which are hypoallergenic gels so allergic reactions are extremely rare.

    Side effects are uncommon but can include bruising and swelling, infection, tenderness and redness of the area. Lumpiness at the injection site which can be smoothed out or dissolved if needed.

    ·         What can I expect after treatment?
    • Immediately after the procedure it is important not to touch the area or apply make up for 24 hours to minimise infection.
    • Avoid exercise including yoga as well as Steam rooms/Saunas for 24 hours post treatment.
    • As with botulinum toxin, we advise no alcohol for 24 hours as this can worsen any bruising.
    • Results can last between 6 months up to 2 years and can be topped up when needed.
